Bearings

These Bearings always have the lubricating channels in axial position, in a number which is proportional to the diameter of the axis and with an increased section which allows the transit of foreign bodies. If not specifically requested, these particular bearings are delivered with the inner part in PV 68 K rubber, suitable for operating in salt water or sweet water, with the outer part in brass or bronze.

For those bearings that have special workings on the external shell, as for example flanges, holes, threads or milings, which would make the substitution very expensive, the re-lining of the metal piece is effected upon setting up the necessary equipment.

The outside shell of the bearings can be manufactured with various materials.
CARAVEL can also manufacture new bearings with an outer shell made of ALUMINIUM (which provides an excellent antigalvanic function). The bearings have been tested by Caravel Quality Department according to the new ISO 9001 Quality procedures for new products planning and designing.
