ALUMINIUM BEARINGS
Caravel has now developed and manufactured new rubber bearings with an outer shell made of aluminium.
It is anticorodal UNI 6060 - 9006, fit for marine application.
Anticorodal aluminium has even better physical and mechanical properties if compared with antigalvanic resine. It can protect
the rubber with a longer working life.
The material is anodized with a depth of 10 micron, in order to obtain a complete and safe protection of the shell.
It is also important to emphasize that aluminium bearings can be cheaper than resin bearings.
Furthermore the period to manufacture and ship an aluminium bearing is shorter than do do the same with a resin bearing.

NEW ISO 9001 CERTIFICATE
Caravel has renewed its ISO 9001 Quality Certification with Lloyd's Register.
Caravel always focuses on a concrete application of many Quality standard procedures.
Caravel bearings are a high level product thanks to their longer working life and thanks to extremely precise working techniques and procedures.
Caravel has also widened its certification to non standard bearings planning and manufacturing.
Caravel can now manufacture non standard bearings using modern 3D software and applying precise mathematical formulas to understand the behaviour of the bearing in real conditions.
