PVC and rubber bushings

Water lubricated bearings with an outer shell in non-metallic material, namely PVC, and rubber inner: extremely easy to assemble and remove, they are a perfect alternative when there is a need to avoid a connection between copper alloys (brass or bronze) and iron, or metals that are very distant in the electrochemical potential scale. Because of its versatility, PVC is a valid alternative to resins and other plastic materials.

Advantages

Duration

PVC, associated with NBR nitrile rubber through a vulcanization process, ensures a long operating life to the bearing, thanks to the maintenance of the chemical characteristics of the bond with the elastomer.

Ease of maintenance

Since they are thermoplastic material, PVC bushings can be inserted into their housing or removed from it at the end of their useful life with extreme ease.

Eco-sustainability

PVC is a recyclable and concretely recycled material. In addition, due to its thermoplastic nature, PVC can be recycled several times without significant loss of performance.

Standard

Over the years, we have produced more than 5,000 different types of bushings for axes from 12 to 500 mm.
Download the catalog and choose the bush that's right for you.
Standard products are always ready in stock and therefore immediately available.

Tailor-made

We can design and manufacture bushings of various sizes and materials for large boats, hydroelectric and nuclear power plants, aqueducts, vertical and submersible pumps, wastewater plants and animal husbandry.

PVC bushings available on request

Several dozen different types of PVC are available in stock or can be produced quickly. As with metal bushings, bushings can be made on request or on design. Do not hesitate to contact us for a quote with updated price and expected delivery times.
