Acetal resin (POM-C) bearings

Acetal resin

Acetal resin bushings

POM-C crystalline polymer bushings, also known as Delrin, available in the most diverse dimensions, from 20 to 300 mm shaft diameter.
Also suitable for contact with food and chemicals, including many solvents, they can be produced with both axial and spiral channels and maintain good dimensional stability over time (thanks to low hygoscopicity) and resistance to wear.

Advantages

Variety of sizes

POM-C bushings are available in the same dimensions as standard brass and rubber bushings.
However, it is possible to request customized dimensions for non-standard bushings even for workboats, fishing boats, service boats.

Dielectric properties

POM-C has good dielectric and electrical insulation properties.
Furthermore, being a non-metallic material, it can be used where there is a need to prevent corrosion phenomena from galvanic currents.

Physiological inertia

POM-C is a physiologically inert material suitable for contact with any type of water. The absence of the inner rubber layer makes it quick to work with and has little impact from the point of view of the energy consumption necessary for production.

Standard

Over the years, we have produced more than 5,000 different types of bushings for axes from 12 to 500 mm.
Download the catalog and choose the bush that's right for you.
Standard products are always ready in stock and therefore immediately available.

Tailor-made

We can design and manufacture bushings of various sizes and materials for large boats, hydroelectric and nuclear power plants, aqueducts, vertical and submersible pumps, wastewater plants and animal husbandry.

Made by your Design

Given their ductile material, Acetal Resin bushings are customizable and allow thinner thicknesses than Metal/Rubber bushings
