Marine minesweeper axle bushings
The customer requires the construction of a batch of bronze bushings for 260 mm axle to be installed on the “Rimini” minesweeper of the Italian Navy. In addition to this unit, Caravel had the honor of providing three other Navy minesweepers and two Italian Coast Guard deep-sea patrols. The customer, in this case, requires complete traceability of the production phases, the materials, the calibration tools used and requires the certification of a third party.
Thanks to Caravel's agile and coordinated structure, it was possible to manage the production process of these bushings according to customer requests. The bushings have been installed on the “Rimini” minesweeper accompanied by a complete and detailed dossier.
