A real example of Italian excellence, Aslec 4 is a 45 m motoryacht custom built in 2012 in Viareggio. The yacht’s interior has been designed by world-wide Italian famous designer.

With a steel hull and marine grade aluminium superstructure, this motor yacht is equipped with two Caterpillar 3508 C DITA/SWAC engines with 1,300 BHP each that allow the vessel to reach a maximum speed of more than 16 knots and a half load cruising speed of 15 knots.

The yacht is equipped with 2 bronze and rubber bearings for a 120 mm shaft (480 mm long) and 4 bronze and rubber bearings for 120 mm shaft (240 mm long).These bearings are flanged: the casting has been manufactured in a specialized foundry, to avoid any welding and keep the shell more compact and resistant.
